Jyeshtha, the eldest

Jyeshtha is the eldest star in the name itself. Indra is the deity usually given. Authority, an elder sibling, and the end of a thing.

Jyeshtha means the senior. Indra, king of the gods and not always a comfortable king, is the deity in the table. The star has a reputation for endings and for the person who has to be in charge. An eldest child's duties get projected onto it. That projection is cultural, and it is heavy, and it should not be handed to a newborn as a job description.

For muhurtham, many lists are cautious. Ending a contract can suit it better than opening a shop. The caution is a tradition of practice. It is not a meteorological warning. Rain does not consult Jyeshtha, and neither does a court date you cannot move.

Read the placement. Then decide with the people who actually share your house, not with a caption.
